Post GAME DAY THREAD: Vikings @ Lions
Im pumped for this season. Here are my predictions for this game:

Ponder throws at least one pick
AP rushes for no more than 90 yards
Stafford throws at least one STUPID pick
Reggie has 130+ from scrimmage

Lions win 17-13

EDIT: Also join other fans in the Lionbacker Chatroom during the game. http://www.lionbacker.com/chat

Get real.
May be I've been sampling to much of the Kool-aid, but for the Lions to only score 17pts???? I say the score more than 24

Staff's pick is in the red zone before half time. He tries fitting it into a non-existent window to Burleson and pays for it.

Best time of year. Start fresh. What has happened in the preseason, last season, season before and so on, doesn't matter at all.
Now we have hope. Hope that this season is a strong one for the Lions. Hope that they can prove the critics wrong. Hope that they start fast and finish strong. Hope that Stafford IS the guy. Hope the Defense has improved. Hope the O-Line will be at least decent. Hope, with the addition of Bush, the running game can make a difference. Hope that the coaching staff makes the right decisions. Hope the Lions win and win a lot.

My Lions gnome somehow broke last year, and everyone saw how the Lions did. Well my son and I just put it back together (fixed it) this signifies the Lions fixing their team.

Here's to a new season
Hope to see many in the chat for the game.
HOPE THEY DON'T BLOW IT!

Can't wait for kickoff.

Bush will be the missing piece from last year that will get this offense truly clicking.

Agreed. Not counting ridiculous wins in Dallas and 1 of our other comebacks in 2011, we were basically an 8-8 team. Started 5-1 (had lead in loss before Best left) and who knows where we would've went with Best. The defense is better and we've experienced all the BS already with the disappointments, upsets, Thanksgiving BS, etc.. I feel like we just need to avoid being caught off guard and play our game and we can do some work in the division. Stafford has matured, Schwartz had a season that has to humble any HC, and the defensive line looks like there's no limits.

Go Lions

haven't seen the new offense with bush and Johnson on the field all that much. Patrick Edwards is our No 2 WR and Broyles is out. Will be interesting. We didn't get much going vs the Vikings last year lets see how this goes. if we tackle the opening kick it ll be a good start.
