To me (with the replay) Youngs hands to the face penalty was bogus, and may have a massive outcome on the game since it was a great d play, forced fumble and recovery. :/

That was a legit call. He grabbed the guy's facemask and shoved his head backwards. That was textbook illegal hands to the face.

Thanks for clarification. Didnt see during live play, and replay only had it on screen low qual stream in the bottom corner for replay from willies back, and I just saw him drive the OL and then the OL gesture at ref for flag.

Blocked FG now. LIons just doing what they can to not win this game, despite D forcing 4 FGs and O Getting Multiple missed opportunities. Get it together guys.

Pettigrew has a 3rd and 10 1st down catch hit both hands and drops it. Yes covered, but it was right in his hands. This iwth less than 5 mins left and a 2 pt lead on the "close it out drive" for the Lions. All I Can do every play is pray they dont try and throw to Pett. I know he can block, but hes a Liability in the Passing game at this point.

Setting up for a Lions loss by 1 to a FG. Cant stop the clock churning run game. Offense didnt do a damn thing in the entire 2nd half.

Bentley with a Poor Play, He was beat but had he turned to look the ball wasn't well thrown and would have been easy play, even a potential Int. Gotta get the head turned. Ball at 1 yd line leads to an easy TD. 2 Min drill time for the Lions , TD to Win.

They're just doing what they've excelled at better than any team in the NFL for the last 50 years...snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Linehan is a total f***ing idiot. Why does he just give up when something doesn't go as planned (Bush getting injured)? Throw Riddick in there, run the same plays. Where was Fauria? Man this team is insufferable.

Pett makes a great Diving Catch (but still cant catch anything that hits his hands easy). Then CJ Getns Interefered with but no call, that would have been a FD. Now to 4th Down, game on the line.

Why were any of those routes shorter than 5 yards when you need 4 to extend the game. Great f-ing play calling Linehan.

Terrible Playcall by Linehan costs lions a shot, YOU DONT THROW a 2 YD SLANT ON 4th and 4. fudge common sense. Pathetic Display by Lions.

D Played Great except agaisnt the Run on a few Plays. Lions Offense and Playcalling a joke.

Maybe not the deciding factor, but this is still infuriating:

Lions played like crap, and subsequently lose to an inferior team (minus Larry) I might add. Some things we are certain to see all season long, Pettigrew will continue to drop the ball and Willie Young will keep making bonehead mistakes.

I would seriously consider cutting Willie at this point.

They definitely need Broyles back to help move the chains, it's a sad day when a pass happy offense only has two WRs have receptions for an entire game.
