I love Joique in this one.

 Re: Fauria TD Dance Thread
I wonder what the record is for most touchdowns scored by an undrafted rookie free agent in his first year.

Good question - probably a RB, there have been some good one's like Arian Foster, Priest Holmes, Willie Parker, etc., but many took a year or two to really crack into the lineup. I haven't looked at any of the stats. I think LeGarrette Blount had 6 or 7 as a rookie (many on this board wanted him in the Lions backfield). Ryan Grant had a decent rookie season with the Pack awhile back, he may have had more than Blount if anyone wants to check but he may have also come off of someone's practice squad so I'm not sure if that was truly his first year in the league. Gates is the only TE that really comes to mind, but I don't remember him as a rookie. At WR you have Victor Cruz, Wes Welker and Miles Austin, but again I don't remember them tearing it up as rookies. I'm sure there are some from the older days, but I didn't follow the draft as close back then.

 Re: Fauria TD Dance Thread
Looking for a table somewhere but havent found it yet. Foster had 3. Gated had 2. Top 25 Undrafted FAs all Time: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1626 ... ry/page/26Not sure anyone has even had 5 in the Modern NFL, and we arent even halfway through the season. If he even gets 3-4 more for the rest of the way, it will be considered one of the greatest UDFA Rookie seasons of all time at any position, possible #1. To be fair most UDFAs are lucky to make teams, so most sit 1-3 seasons fithgint their way up depth charts. But the combination of opportunity, and seizin that opportunity has Fauria in rarified air. Here an article about what we are discussing: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nf ... t/2981525/

 Re: Fauria TD Dance Thread
OK, I'm looking up some info on this thing they call the interwebs...
Ryan Grant had 8 TDs his first season with the Pack, that said, he did spend a year on the NYG practice squad the year before so I'm not sure how that would count (a little like Joique Bell's situation). Blount had 6 TDs his rookie season as a UFA in Tampa.
Let's go with that until someone really wants to do some serious research.

 Re: Fauria TD Dance Thread
best i ve got so far is Bill Groman, actually played in the AFL but stats merged and had 1400+ yds receiving and 12 TDs. I dont see that he was drafted.
