Post Bears the clear favourite to win the NFC North?
"I think that, despite yesterday’s loss, [the Bears] are a clear favorite to win the NFC North"

http://mmqb.si.com/2013/11/11/chicago-b ... re-ravens/

Written before Tillman went on IR, but still. Sounds pretty outlandish to me.

As someone had posted in that articles comment section, "I think this article was supposed to be for the Onion."

Wow. Lions beat the Bears twice, once in pretty convincing fashion (first game), and it was KNOWN that Cutler won't be back for a game or two, and the guy still thinks the Bears win the NFCN? Must be nice to live on Fantasy Island. Say hello to Mr. Rourke and Tattoo for us, will ya?

I dont think he'd make it to Fantasy Island. You need to take "De Plane" to get there...it apears that the author prolly needs a bus to get around...the short kind! ;)

utterly rediculous read! (and I like to think Im being fair since we prolly should have lost the 2nd Bears game if their coaching staff would have been smart enough to put in McKown in the 3rd when it was obvious that Cutler was too badly injured to be productive)

Not counting this out, but that's just disrespectful. They have the Ravens, who have a horrific rushing attack, at home this week and McCown is no worse than Cutler when you factor in INTs. Some things went our way and some didn't, like the wide open screen to Bush with nothing but grass and white jerseys ahead ending up incomplete and the Jeffery TD overturn. This game could've easily went either way.

Simply being as realistic as possible; the division is no one's yet, but it's ridiculous to say they're clear favorites.

One other thing the writer forgets is that the Packers will probably get Aaron Rodgers back sometime within the next three to four weeks, so he'll still have a chance to put them back into contention for the wildcard playoff spot, if not the division title. When it comes right down to it, the Bears have far more injuries to various positions than the Pack do. The Packers are a better all around team than the Bears, hands down.

I'm predicting, no matter what, that the Packers beat the Bears in week 17 and put them out of the playoffs.

What's even funnier than this dumb article is the crap Brandon Marshall had to say today. Lions handled it well, laughing him off for the most part. When you can't beat the team, pick on the financially troubled city.

Brandon, you got beat like one of your ex-girlfriends.....TWICE.

Sour grapes make for great whine, huh Brandon?

Playoffs? You'll get to watch them on TV. That's the ONLY way you'll see the Lions in the playoffs this year.

Now go take your meds......psycho.

I clicked on the link and it says "Page Not Found". Maybe he's retracting the article.

Probably hanging with another writer featured on Chicago Chronicle "deal with it" predicting a 49-7 Bears score

lol, big time

yeah the bears lost with a QB who couldnt walk but that also left them still with a QB who couldnt walk and needing to gain 2 games on the Lions to win the divions with only 7 games to play... how did he propose that would happen? what kind of gutless chicken sh.. pulls his own article anyway and then blames it on an injury? he should be a man and just acknowledge how unlikely it would be

who is jake phenix? someone on this board or did you just spot that on twitter tlb? pretty awesome tweet
