If the Lions could somehow swing getting those bolded guys, it would be an incredible draft. I actually like Hubbard quite a bit. He stood out to me more than Mosely in the Tide games I watched. Though I think Mosely is a more natural athlete.

Post Re: NFL mock Draft game
The problem I have with this game is that they don't have the Lions needs properly ordered, in my opinion. The game calls for OT and OG as needs ahead of a center. That's wrong. It shows no need for a TE until later, despite Pettigrew being a free agent. DE isn't really a need, or shouldn't be until later in the draft process than it is. It also has RB listed as a need somewhere along the line, and not QB. Hill is a free agent, and Kellen Moore is garbage. The Lions would have to look at drafting a backup QB before drafting what amounts to a fifth RB, even later in the draft.

Don't get me wrong, I like playing this game. The problem is, in order to score high you are supposed to fill the needs shown with high valued players at those positiions. If you draft according to actual needs, you won't score as high.

Make sense. I Completely Ignore their listed positional Needs. I go for specific players I know I want, and at most use the "Best Value Reamining" section to pick.

I am more interested in picks that fit this team and you guys might agree with, than the score.

I emailed them about this. They said that they go with what Walter Football, Pro Football Focus, and NFL.com list as our needs.

I think I'd be pretty happy with this haul. Only positions I didn't get that need to be addressed are TE and K. Wouldn't mind a late round WR either.

Well...there was one trade in there. Traded down three spots in the fourth and picked up a late fifth rounder. I thought it was realistic, so I figured what the heck.

Now, to the totally unrealistic:

DeAnthony Thomas is the 1 i keep scratching my head about. ElPeloRetardo and McShay both have him as like a 2nd round pick, FirstPick says hes a Bad 7th round pick. Can't make sense of the huge descripancy. I think hed be a great 4th-7th pick, as a super high reward potential guy.
