No terms released but it's being reported as a nice raise over his salary last season. We don't have cap room for too much of a nice raise.

Im thinking they will definitely target his replacement this offseason. Funny...if we had taken Alex Mack like some of us wanted in 2009 instead of Pett, we wouldnt have a hole at that position. Just sayin'

No. We would just be looking at having to give Mack a healthy raise this year.

Anyone else think that it was kind of a coincidence that Dom had the best year of his career when we finally had a good, quality guard on BOTH sides of him???

Exactly what I was thinking. But we need him here at least 1 more year to groom a replacement. Hopefully we can land a center in round 3 or 4 to take over next year.

Wait.. So you're saying it would suck to have Mack, who is one of the best centers in the league, because we would have to pay him more? And its better we selected Pett because we dont have to pay him? Am I missing something?

And nothing against Dom, but if we got a real solid rookie center to replace him, that combo could be that much better too.

Raiola got only $1.5M. That's not a bad deal. Still want us to draft a center though.

I've never been a fan of him but they are better off with him for at least one more season then without. Let them draft or find a FA replacement that's suitable.
