Post What if...
Charles Rogers is healthy and can stay healthy? What do you think that could do for our team? If he is what little we saw (pretty damn great IMO) then tagged with Roy they could be phenominal. I mean really...we could pick up trent dilfer to toss it at them and I think we could smoke teams. Anyways...we have talked so much about Roy and KJ I think we forgot a bit about the excitement he brought. If he can stay healthy he is a fantastic receiver...but after breaking a collarbone twice in 2 seasons that is a big question mark.

Can't they just fuse a steel frame on his collarbone and be done with it???

CROG is the forgotten man, and for good reason. IMO - Rogers was a better NCAA WR than Williams. I also watched all 4 preseason games (a number of times) and CR was miles ahead of ROY. Then again, I'm also a Spartan and perhaps I'm biased. But I also live in Texas and got to see more of ROY than of CR.

Two different WRs. I think CR has a bit more speed and better hands. ROY is bigger and can get the high ball. Both have injury concerns.

It would be 1) awesome to see each play a full season and 2) interesting to see who has better stats at the end.

I seemed to me that Joey and CR had a pretty good chemistry going in their short time together, more than Joey and ROY in a few more games. But CR had a whole offseason to develop timing with Harrington.

Never before were to WRs taken by the same team in the top 10 picks in back-to-back drafts (let alone the top 7 picks). They should be something special.

Throw in KJ and WOW!

Add a solid TE and look out!

Get great QB play and, well that's just too good to think about right now...

On paper Detroit has an incredible offense, as long as they don't have Dilfer throwing the ball!!LOL I have said it before: If CRog can stay healthy, Roy on the other side, and decent #3 and KJ, they are an offensive coordinators dream. This is all predicated on the fact that CRog can stay healthy, and Harrington (or whoever they have) can deliver the ball.
