Post Free Agent Visits to Detroit
Jeff Garcia - 2/26/2005
Marco Rivera - 3/3/2005
Kurt Warner- 3/4/2005
Kenoy Kennedy - 3/7/2005
Brad Johnson - not available yet

So Marco Rivera is in town today (does that make you happy lionsfanva?), he meet with Dallas yesterday. Warner is in town tomorrow (after visits to Arizona on 3/2 and Chicago on 3/3). I'm not finding Garcia has made any other visits as of yet.

It's being reported on CBS-Sportsline that Rivera and the Cowboys are close to a deal. Wahle is seriously close to a deal with Carolina, according to the same source. :( :( :( :(  :x :x

While we schedule visits, others teams are scheduling press conferences with signings. WTH is going on out there?

Quick Visit update boyz:

Rick DeMulling, an unrestricted free-agent guard from Indianapolis, is expected to fly in today and visit with the club tomorrow (could we land a guard on Wednesday?)

Quarterback Brad Johnson is expected to fly in tomorrow and meet with the club on Thursday (could we land a backup QB on Thursday?)

From the sounds of it, Johnson will be signed on Thursday during his visit. Garcia's good as gone and I'd rather have McMike back over Fiedler...I fully expect them to make a huge push for DeMulling as well, but then again, who doesn't? Neil is good, but DeMulling is better and Joyce and Loverne are just terrible.
