Is Mooch to easy on practices

 Is Mooch to easy on practices I've heard it for years with all Leo's head coachs .no contact practice we are gonna take it easy on the guys etc.
Think this make them soft?Could this be the cause of the injury bug that seems to hit us every year?
Practie like you play, is what I always say.

I doubt practicing without pads is the major source of the injury bug. Given the fact that last year Mooch started the season with an injury list longer than the Federal Prosicutors white collar crime sheet, I would say he made a wise decision.
It is agreed that a certain amount of full contact is necessary to prepare one for such a brutal sport but, to insist on full contact hitting against your own teamates for the sake of conditioning, can produce unwanted results in the form of excessive injuries.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the injury bug has been with the Lions longer than Mooch has been here.
