Updating ongoing reports, Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports free agent S Kenoy Kennedy (Broncos) is set to meet with the Detroit Lions Monday, March 7. There have been strong indications Detroit will try to sign him during his visit with the team.

They also said he has scheduled a visit with the Falcons and that the Saints and Chiefs have expressed interest in him as well. In addition, the Broncos are going to try to re-sign him.

Don't let this man leave town without a signed contract. Today is a key day in the Lions off season.

Your 100% right Pablo and Miami is also intrested now they have to resign him or its over. Tommrow will also be a big day for the Lions Marcus Pollard Rick DeMulling and Corey Bradford will all be in town.

First, my eyes are bugged out after reading trough this post. :roll:

I've posted some of this stuff in the "around the league" forum about Smith but some key things I've heard (or rumors) are:

1) the deal the club was offering was 4-years, $16M.

2) Kennedy has already left town.

3) the Lions are trying to get him to visit again.

In Spanish they have a phrase for this - addios muchachos!
