 Kevin Carter to the 'Phins
The Dolphins reached a five-year, $30 million agreement with former Tennessee Titans defensive end Kevin Carter. Included in the deal is $8 million of guarantees in signing and option bonuses.
Carter, who has never missed a game in his 10-year career, will make $10 million over the first two years of the contract and $16 million over the first three. He will be a defensive end in the Dolphins' 3-4 scheme and was considered to be one of the key players available in free agency.
Does anyone else think that's too much money to shell out for Carter???

Carter has had a very productive career, but at his age I would be hesitant to sign him to a 5-year with guaranteed money.

Like they say on the Price is Right...
"THAT'S TOO MUCH!"
BTW, since when are they going to a 3-4? I didn't know about that

A number of teams look like they may be switching to the 3-4, Dallas and Denver both come to mind.
