 I'm like Charles Rogers
Down and out...
Broken clavicle... except i'm not made of glass, and i'll recover in 3 weeks.
Sucks though, sleeping isn't the same. I had trouble shutting off my alarm.

Sorry to hear that Brian . Good luck to you. Did Dre Bly crash into you?

The Lions curse continues. Hey Brian, can you shed any light into the healing process?
bsand2053 - thanks for asking. No crutches, no cast.
Still can't run though, won't be back on the field for a couple of more weeks. Thank god for the Eliptical machines!

Good luck with the 3 weeks. I did mine a year and a half ago, it took 5 months for the bone to heal, and another 8 months before I could get into the gym. Maybe it had something to do with the 2 inches of bone they had to replace with the steel plate.

Lionsfanak, does your plate hurt when you walk outside into the cold? I had a "Jones Fracture" in my foot and had a titanium screw put in, it hurts like a beast when I walk outside into single digit weather.
By the way, I was in Achorage for the first time last November, nice place. Food prices were an outrage though.

conversion, this thing hurts all of the time. I notice it most in the cold and the damp. A 5" plate and 6 screws.

conversion, I just read the end of your post. Yeah, Anchorage isn't bad at least it's better than 6 mile and I-75!! I guess I haven't noticed the food prices, must be getting used to it.

When I was up there in Anchorage, I got a sampler platter (Halibut, Salmon, and something else) and a drink and it cost me $15!!! No wonder they didn't show me the prices on the menu! It was just some hole-in-the-wall deli on the street, talk about a rip.
Back to the glass bones thing, I was bored so I did "active yoga" last night at this health and fitness center, oh man...My foot hurts horribly. I can barely walk this morning. Damn you 50 mm screw.

The trip was awesome, minus the food. If I pay $20 to feed only myself (without a tip and drink), I had better not know what to do with all of my silverware lol. Anchorage is a nice town, nice scenery, and the temps aren't too bad.
