 Deon Sanders
apparently is in talks with the Ravens about returning to the NFL. Neon's broadcast career didn't really take off and we all know how much he likes to be in the public eye...

Might not be a good idea but he provided yet another reason to believe the rumors regarding his interest in making a comeback when he re-hired his former personal trainer on Thursday to help monitor his workout sessions. ESPN.com reported Thursday that Sanders re-hired Tom Shaw to help gauge his conditioning. If Sanders decides to make a comeback, he is expected to join the Ravens as a nickel back.
Ravens' officials have reportedly sent word to Sanders that they would like him to make a decision within the next 11 days. One issue that could lead Sanders to decide against making a return is that he is eligible to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006. If he chooses to return this season, he would not be eligible for induction until five years after he plays his final game.

Yeah, I was about to say. If he comes back, then that clock to go into the Hall of Fame restarts, something that he will most likely get into. That may be the only thing that is holding him back.

It's finally official:
Deion Sanders signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Ravens on Tuesday, making his heavily rumored return from retirement official. The 37 year-old cornerback passed a physical before signing and will report to practice on Wednesday. He has not played since the 2000 season when he was a member of the Redskins. "What a resource," Ravens' head coach Brian Billick told the Associated Press of Sanders. "I can't imagine our younger players or our guys that have not had a lot of playing time aren't going to hang on every word that this guy has to offer." Sanders will play nickel back for the Ravens.
