Detroit receives a 2007 Orlando (top 5 protected) first-round pick. (Darko Milicic trade 021506)
Detroit receives Minnesota's 2007 second round pick (Ronald Durpee trade 062805)
www.nbadraft.net
2007 first round draft pick from Orlando
Orlando?s own 2007 1st round pick to Detroit (top 5 protected in the 2007 Draft, and unprotected in the 2008 Draft). [Detroit ? Orlando, 2/23/2006]
2008 second round draft pick from Minnesota
Minnesota?s own 2008 2nd round pick to Detroit, provided that Minnesota shall have the option to delay they trade by one year if it notifies the League Office 30 days prior to the 2008 Draft. If Minnesota defers, then it shall trade its own 2009 2nd round pick to Detroit [Detroit ? Minnesota, 10/31/2005]

When The Detroit Pistons get The Minnesota Timberwolves' 2nd round pick is not clear (2007 or 2008?) But all three websites have the Orlando Magic giving the Detroit Pistons their 1st round pick in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Rasheed just garunteed game 4.
Last time he did this he played like crap and Tayshaun bailed him out with the reggie miller block.

Preston,
This being the 2006 Draft, you are correct about no 1st round pick this year. When I was checking on this I really didn't pay much attention to the draft years, I assumed that we had a chance at the pick for the upcoming draft. But either way, this draft is kind of weak and I would rather have the pick next year when the draft could be much stronger.

Yeah, but I wish we could draft Randy Foye (PG, Villanova) in the 1st round this year. The guy is supposed to be amazing and he's compared to Chauncy Billups on www.nbadraft.net. The Pistons could groom him to be the next starting PG, since Billups will be entering his 9th season in the NBA next season. Anyways, there will probably be some great PG's in next year's draft so I'm not that dissappointed.

I hate the NBA sometimes, I hate that the best player always get the calls and it is uneven from one player to another. Lebron James pushes off everytime he drives to the hoop. I'm actually glad they lost maybe they will wake up and play like they can, They've played like total crap the last 2 games and still been close

I can't believe everyone predicted the Pistons would win in 5 games. You guys all fell for it. I voted for 6 games from the start just because I knew the Cavaliers could pull out a couple of games with Lebron James. Game 5 is a must win for the Detroit Pistons and anything less than a win will not be tolerated by Detroit fans.

I didn't vote, but I probably would have predicted 4 or 5 games. The Pistons should've swept. The two games they lost were them beating themselves, not the Cavs. 5 games is the popular pick because the Pistons always seem to throw one mercy game the opponents way when they are heavily favored.
I agree game 5 is a must win. But really I don't see us losin gthat game at home infront of our crown unless Chauncey or Rip get left behind in Cleveland. No worries......

Fell for what? The idea that the Pistons wouldn't beat themselves??? Lebron would give them a couple games??? Gimme a damn break... We lost on our own accord...

Any other thoughts on free agents to target this offseason?? Seeing how the Detroit Pistons are struggling against the Miami Heat?
