Up to $2.44 a gallon in Battle Creek/Kalamazoo. This is ridiculous.

and I thought it was bad down here in texas. For the low grade down here it's $2.09.

I am driving up to that area to visit family in late July. I am so not looking forward to what the prices might be then. :x

Get ready, if you need premium gas...$2.61 a gallon. Good thing my engine doesn't knock and I drive a good ol' American car.

On a side note, I work for an electric/gas company and our rates are all regulated by state/federal. I think it's funny how people write the local papers and complain about their utility bills but rarely do I see a complaint in the opinion section about soaring gas prices. Did anything of importance happen today to require a $0.25 per gallon increase in the price of the same gas that was there yesterday? This is outrageous.

Hey, you guys. In Sweden a gallon costs about 5.5$, maybe that will make you happier. The goverment puts huge taxes on it in order to please enviromental freaks.
