 Larry Coker is out at Miami! Coker has been dismissed. If invited to a bowl game he will coach it - other than that the college will be searching / interviewing for replacements.

This really shouldn't surprise anyone with Coker being removed, Butch Davis took the University of North Carolina job a week or so back so he is out of consideration. I read something a week or two ago that if Coker was dismissed he might be considered for the MSU job, this might be just pure speculation and I don't think it would be a very good fit. One name that did come up on the U of Miami job is Barry Alvarez, who has some connection with Miami's president from there days at Wisconsin.
