 Did we cut Gary The Lions released running back Olandis Gary, who was on injured reserve after undergoing shoulder surgery last month.

I didn't think NFL teams could cut players once they were on IR. Perhaps I was wrong, can anyone confirm this?

Yeah, I guess all it really does it guarentee them $ and if club is already paying them they will probably keep them on the IR roster most of the time. In a case like Gary, where he will have no chance to make the roster again there was no point in keeping him even on IR.

I'm just glad this schmoe is off the team, he was never good as a Lion.
BTW, is there any way I can edit my rankings? It's nothing big, I can do it next week. We got 4 people actually on right now that are registered, I think that's a record! LOL
