 Depth Chart
I was looking at the depth chart and I didn't see Loverne at OG. Is he a RFA?
Also, I thought Tyrone Hopson was a C as opposed to OG?
Isn't Hakim the #2 KR/PR?

Loverne was an oversight on my part, he is signed through 2006. I'll fix that. Hopson is listed as a guard with the Lions, both Woody and DeMulling can back up the center spot.
Hakim can certainly back up kicks but Swinton was the backup last season and the Lions also beleive Bly can return punts. I didn't list Hakim as the backup because they still have to re-sign Drummond, Swinton might not be back and Hakim could be cut loose.
Ourlads does a good job with depth charts, they are including FAs in there version.

Man this site is very comprehensive. I've navigated through some of the stuff on the main page, but I see something new everyday!

Thanks man! We are still in our infancy, we will be completing just our 8th month soon. It's been a labor of love and we still have a long way to go. I'd really like to get a comprehensive salary cap worksheet up but its complicated and will take some work. Any capologist out there want to volunteer?
We built the site so that everything wouldn't be super obvious, so that fans can discover new stuff all the time. Glad you are enjoying your exploration of the site.

I'm sure you've heard of NetRat?
He posts at the M-Live forums and has a spreadsheet out there on the internet.
That's the only attempt I have seen at maintaining a Lions cap situation.

I am aware of NetRat and his spreadsheet. There are a couple of other guys out there who are also good with the cap. There is a lot of guess work in these figures with roster bonuses, incentive clauses, acceleration clauses, etc... Makes my head hurt just thinking about it!

Yeah, it's amazing. Hopefully one day they'll make all of this info public. I also assume you're aware of the nflpa site that publishes base salary info? Obviously, with bonuses, the site isn't worth too much.

Yeah, I've used the NFLPA site to gather some info, it is very limited as you stated. Somebody needs to start a web site that tracks all the salary related info. NFLcontracts.com or something like that.

I seen askthecommish.com had some salary cap estimates that were alot different than espn.com posted? which one is a more credible sight. Last I seen Detroit had around 5million projected.

I don't think askthecommish's cap has been updated in awhile. Netrat's got a good detail in the cap and he keeps it pretty up to date. http://www.obc.net/greg/lions.html#Salary%20Cap

ourlads is always a great roster reference. Very thorough with fringe signings even in the offseason.
