Not cancerous which is a good thing and it sounds like it will be handled but anything to do with the brain is indeed scary. Best wishes Kelly...

Had something similar in a different part of my head. Definitely not something I would wish on anyone, but as far as hearing the words brain tumor, it felt like I got pretty lucky. Hopefully they can get most of the tumor with minor damage to the nerves in the area, so that it won't grow back and she doesn't have any lasting damage. I wasn't that lucky and ended up having a second craniotomy to remove the rest of the tumor after it regrew doing more damage than before the surgery.

I'm doing great. I lost sight in my eye due to the damage to my optical nerve caused by both the tumor and the removal, but I try not to let it bother me. Sometimes my brain even tricks me into forgetting about it entirely and then I bump into something because my center line is off. I have to think its pretty funny to watch when it happens.
